Victoria Memorial

The Victoria Memorial was built by the British in 1921. It is home of the "Sound & Light Show" lauded by Ed Miller. We did not have a chance to see the show. There is a lot of green space around the memorial to prevent pollution from destroying it. During our 4 day trip to Kolkata, Ed Miller, MCC Country Representative for India, convinced Carolyn, Patrick, and I to be tour guides for the MCC Learning Tour that was visiting at the same time. This was our first time in India!
