A week ago Friday I went to Dhaka for the air-conditioning, ice cream, and shopping. I also stayed for Saturday as I had an invitation from Ethel to attend a concert that she was singing in. The concert was at the newly opened Radisson hotel, and I partly wanted to go just to see the fabulous place. The concert was lovely and they also had some traditional dance performance. I really took for granted all the Artist Series events that I went to during college.
