Now for the conclusion of my India trip. After Agra we took a train to Jabulpur where we narrowly missed boarding a bus for the Kanhu National Park. This was a six hour ride on a packed local sort of bus in the unairconditioned 110 degree midday sun. It only cost about $2 so we survived, and had wonderful showers after our arrival at the hotel. Our fellow MCC workers from India, Andrea & Christina, met us at the hotel around at 2 a.m. The next morning we got up around 4 a.m. and we took a jeep into a huge national park that boasted of tigers. We saw many types of wildlife including lots of deer and peacocks and monkies. From our jeep we did spot a tiger, though it wasn't within a foot of our jeep. The tiger was near a bufalo, and we hoped that there would be some action. Our safari ended at noon and we took a car to Domtri, where Christina and Andrea live. They teach English and Anatomy & Physiology at a nursing school.
