Eid and Puga Shopping Frenzy

Last weekend Cicely and I took a break and snapped some photographs of New Market from the overbridge. The market was at its busiest and fanciest. Plain cotton was hard to come by as everything was covered in beading, embroidery, mirrors, and work. The Hindus were shopping for Durga Puga and the Muslims for Eid. It's just like Christmas, except we were sweating and walking by beggars.

That looks incredible! I think we should switch to Rickshaw's. Wouldn't that be an interesting idea for Justice Week at Bluffton? Way better than that unorgainzed sweat shop thingy!
