Night in Chang Mai

Cicely and I were walking back from the night market to our hostel, when we saw what looked like fireworks in the sky. As we walked closer we realized that these were not fireworks, but latterns-balloons that were lifted off the ground by a flame attached to the bottom. We stopping by the moat and watched a group of tourists buying latterns, writing a message, and sending it off into the clear, cool sky.
