Friday afternoon
Somewhere between visiting the travel agent at the 5-star Sonaragon Hotel and shopping at one of the biggest malls in Asia, Boshundhara City, we saw two small children. We had been contemplating a snack of shingara that we saw in the lobby of the hotel for 90 taka apiece. The oldest, around 4, was carrying the smaller one who was maybe a year old. Then he started hanging the baby over his head by the baby's feet. Robin asked where their mother was, and they said she was in the market. Robin bought them two shingaras for 3 taka each and they went on their way.
