Tetu and his bride sit on the stage in front of the room while all the guests eat and say congratulations. Boe bhat is the occasion a day or week after the wedding where traditionally the bride feeds everyone rice. Actually the brides doesn't cook for the hundreds of guest, she is too busy at the parlor getting dressed for the occasion. Tetu is a good friend of several of my friends, and the boe bhat was in Mymensingh - two reasons to wear a shari.
